Cherry Blossoms in the Front Yards, Forever
My brother and his wife planted a cherry blossom at the front of their house after the loss of their daughter Maeve, who was with us for only 5 short days.
Thirteen months after Mogwai, we played MONA
We played MONA on Sunday 23 March 2025, on the same grass where Mogwai closed out the final Mona Foma a year earlier. Five of us, no vocals, and a museum cut into the cliff behind us.
Our first show at Altar, eighteen months late
Our first ever show, at Altar in Hobart, a year and a half after Old Haunts came out. Five of us, no vocals, a couple of hundred people in the dark. Notes on the room and the night we finally played the record out loud.
